CATUS Vice - Presidents
VALENTINA ILIĆ, born in 1966 in Zrenjanin. She graduated from the Teachers’ College and Art Academy in Novi Sad, department of graphics, where she earned her Masters Degree. For more than 25 years she had worked as a professor in the Graphic School in Belgrade. She participated in multiple projects on the improvement of educational profiles in secondary schools. She started her trade union work when she became the trade union president in the Graphic School, then the President of the Teacher’s Trade Union Board of the City of Belgrade. She was elected President of the Teachers’ Trade Union of Serbia at the Assembly session in April 2016, as well as the President of the Committee of Professions of Primary and Secondary Schools of the Teachers’ Trade Union of Serbia. By the decision of the CATUS President, in August 2020 she was nominated CATUS Council Vice-President.
OLIVERA BOBIĆ, born in 1959 in Niš. She is a B.A jurist. She graduated at the Faculty of Law in Niš and worked in local textile company „NITEX“ representing it in economic conflicts. Since 1994 she has been the member of the Council of Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Niš. Since 1998 she had been working in the Council of the CATU for that city where she was engaged in providing legal aid for trade union members and heading legal department. Since 2010 she had been the Secretary of the Council of CATU for the city of Niš and after the elections in 2015 she became its President.
In July 2015 she was appointed Vice-President of the Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Serbia, responsible for Youth and Women Sections and amending laws related to labour rights.
DRAGAN TODOROVIĆ, born in 1965 in Kuršumlija. He’s got Bachelor’s degree in economics. He started working in the National Theatre in 1989. He started trade union work in 1997 and was a Secretary of the trade union organization of the National Theatre in two mandates. He became the President of the Belgrade City Board of the Trade Union of Culture of Serbia in 2003 and also that year he became a member of the National Committee of the Trade Union of Culture of Serbia, where he held the position of Vice-President throughout the mandate 2015-2020. He had been a member of the Council of the Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Belgrade for four mandates and since 2015 a member of the CATUS Council. He was elected CATUS Council Vice-President in 2015. In February 2020 he was elected President of the Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Belgrade and in August 2020 he was nominated CATUS Council Vice-President.
MILIĆ GORAN, born in 1962 in Niš, is a mechanical technician. He started his trade union work in shareholder's company „Megal“, where from 1998 to 2000 he was President of the Trade Union Organisation. At the same time he was elected President of trade union Metalworkers’ Committee of the municipality of Bačka Palanka and in 2000 the acting President of the Municipal Council of Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Bačka Palanka. He became its President in 2002 and was re-elected to that position in two mandates. In 2010 he got elected Secretary of the Council of Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Vojvodina (CATUV). At its Council’s session in October 2012 he was elected CATUV President.
Since 2013 he has been CATUS Vice-President and since 2015 he has been in charge of material and social status of employees and trade union activities in Vojvodina.
ZORAN MARKOVIĆ, born in 1970 in Surdulica. He started his trade union career in 1999 in Zastava Automobili – Кragujevac, as a shop steward. In 2000 he became a member of the Presidency of the trade union of Zastava Automobili. He developed his professional trade union career from 2001 to 2010 as a Deputy President of trade union in Zastava Automobili. In 2013 he was elected President of the trade union of FIAT Automobili Srbija. In the mandate period 2015-2020 he was a Vice-President of the Autonomous Metal Workers’ Union of Serbia and at its 6th Congress in 2020 he was elected President. He is employed with “Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Serbia”, where his length of service record is on hold. By the decision of CATUS President, in January 2021 he was nominated CATUS Council Vice-President.
VUKOVIĆ DUŠKO, was born in 1961 in Belgrade. He graduated at the Faculty of Political Sciences. He was a member of Belgrade and National Trade Union Councils of Construction Workers and Workers in Industry of Construction Materials. At the fourth Congress of that federation he was re-elected President. Since 2006 he has been a member of the Social and Economic Council of Serbia.
By the decision of CATUS President of July 2015 he was appointed Vice-President of the Confederation’s Council, responsible for information, marketing, education and cooperation with other trade union confederations and employers’ associations.
